"TERN"
"From the Archives"
The TERN was designed by Ralph E. Winslow and built by the Richardson Boat Company in 1927. After many years of service and a number of owners she was purchased in 1980 and restored by RBOA member No. 278 Ronald Wilfeard. Unfortunately on a cruise to the Bahamas she was lost on a coral reef on January 11, 1981. Much more information regarding the TERN and her voyage may be found in the book "The Richardson Story" written by William C. Lindquist and available on CD. See the "Flotsam & Jetsam" page for details.
